Welcome to Team Housed, Working & Healthy – TeamHWH for short - where we are helping people on their path toward self-sufficiency and sustained employment through culinary training and certification programs. We are cooking up success stories and serving hope by the plateful!
We're not your average Denver 501c3 nonprofit. We're a dynamic team of dreamers, doers and difference-makers on a mission to flip the script on housing instability. At TeamHWH, we believe that with the right ingredients, a dash of opportunity, a sprinkle of support, and a heaping helping of hard work, anyone can whip up a recipe for a better life.
TeamHWH is a comprehensive, partner-based program dedicated to helping people who are experiencing housing instability and want to achieve self-sufficiency. Our holistic approach is what makes us unique and our students successful well beyond graduation.
Our Approach
Lasting self-sufficiency takes more than job training. TeamHWH brings together the resources, relationships and support students need to move forward.
Housing Stability
A safe, stable place to live creates a foundation for success. TeamHWH works with community partners to help students access housing resources while they build the skills and employment stability needed to secure and maintain housing of their own.
Job Placement
Training is only the beginning. TeamHWH connects graduates with employers looking for capable, motivated employees and helps students take the next step into meaningful, sustained employment.
Mental Health and Wellness
Mental health and well-being are essential to long-term success. Our students have access to support that helps them address challenges, build resilience and continue moving forward in their lives and careers.
Ongoing Support
Our commitment doesn't end at graduation. TeamHWH continues to support graduates as they navigate employment, housing and other challenges that can affect long-term stability.
Culinary Training and Certification
Students receive hands-on culinary training in a professional kitchen while earning industry-recognized certifications that prepare them for employment. Along the way, they build workplace skills, confidence and experience they can carry into their careers.
Long-Term Success
We measure what matters: whether our graduates continue moving forward. That's why we track outcomes well beyond graduation, including employment and progress toward greater self-sufficiency.

At Team Housed, Working & Healthy (TeamHWH), we believe that everyone should be housed, working, and healthy, breaking the cycle of housing instability by empowering and facilitating self-sufficiency. We strive for a future where housing instability is a temporary challenge, not a permanent condition, and where every individual has the support and opportunities needed to build a stable, fulfilling life.
