Come Experience TeamHWH

The best way to understand TeamHWH is by spending time with our students.

Whether you join us for breakfast, lunch, a graduation or an Iron Chef showcase, you'll see firsthand what makes HWH so special: people working hard, supporting one another and creating lasting self-sufficiency.

Every visit offers a different perspective, but they all have one thing in common: you'll leave inspired.

Contact Aimee Svenneby, Director of Development, to schedule your visit.

Types of Events

Breakfast & Opening Circle

Tuesdays - Fridays | 8:45 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Breakfast is one of our favorite ways to welcome guests because it's part of what our students do every day. As part of their culinary training, they prepare and serve breakfast, giving you a chance to enjoy a delicious meal while seeing their skills in action.

After breakfast, we invite you to stay for Opening Circle, a daily gathering where students and staff check in, celebrate successes, encourage one another and set the tone for the day ahead. It's genuine and often the moment that leaves the biggest impression.

Lunch

Tuesdays - Fridays | 12:30 - 1:15 p.m.

Our kitchen is buzzing with activity all day. We invite you to join us for lunch prepared by our students and see firsthand how TeamHWH students are changing their lives.

Graduation

Third Thursday of each month | 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.

Attending graduation is one of the most meaningful ways to experience TeamHWH, celebrate student achievement, and see the impact of TeamHWH’s culinary training program in action. Join us and see what's possible when people are given the right support and the opportunity to succeed.

Be an Iron Chef Judge

Contact us for availability.

Volunteer as an Iron Chef judge and help celebrate our graduating students as they prepare their signature dishes. You'll sample incredible food, encourage our students, and experience plenty of laughter along the way. Fair warning: you'll probably leave with leftovers!
