A New Home for TeamHWH
Every day, people walk through HWH's doors looking for an opportunity.
They are ready to work, to learn and to rebuild their lives.
The truth of the matter is that more people apply to HWH than we have space to serve. Many join a waiting list, even though they're ready to begin today. We are so excited to move into our new home, which will create room for more students, more training and more opportunities to help people become housed, working and healthy.
Built for Opportunity
Our new 6,000-square-foot facility in Denver's Swansea neighborhood gives TeamHWH the space to grow alongside our community. It will allow us to welcome twice as many students each year and expand the support that helps them succeed long after graduation.
Students will build culinary skills, prepare for interviews, gain confidence, and begin careers. Chefs, coaches, case managers and mental health professionals will have additional space to support every step of each student’s journey. Employers will connect with talented graduates who are ready to work. Every classroom, every conversation and every shared meal moves someone one step closer to self-sufficiency.
A Home for TeamHWH
Our new home will bring together students, graduates, staff, volunteers, employers, donors, and community partners under one roof. Our new home gives more people the chance to take that first step. And everyone has a role.
Students commit to their future. Staff provide coaching and support. Employers create opportunities. Volunteers and donors make the work possible. Together, we celebrate every milestone.
Growing Together
More than 30 nonprofit organizations, employers, educators and community partners have publicly endorsed HWH's expansion because they've seen the results firsthand. They know that when people are given the opportunity to work, heal, and build confidence, our entire community benefits.
People walk through our doors with hope, determination, and a willingness to work hard. They'll leave with new skills, meaningful employment, lasting relationships, and the confidence that comes from becoming self-sufficient. This new home will mark the beginning of hundreds of new journeys every year.
This is TeamHWH.
